#24 Madcrap’s record sleeve of the day “Gram Parsons - Warm Evenings, Pale Mornings, Bottled Blues”
A great Australian release of his best tunes, buy it now!!!
#22 Madcrap’s record sleeve of the day “Funkadelic - Greatest Hits”
Not much to say about this band, they’re still one of my favorites.
#20 Madcrap’s record sleeve of the day “Alan Vega - Jukebox Babe”
Alan Vega first solo record which defined the kind of rockabilly style that he would follow for some years. Released in 1980, an excellent, basic songs with a driving beat, what a treat!
#19 Madcrap’s record sleeve of the day “Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi’s Dead”
“Bela Lugosi’s dead
Undead undead undead”
Awesome track! Bauhaus’s first single, released in August 1979, and is often considered to be the first gothic rock record released. Love the sleeve as well, the song is over nine minutes in length and was recorded “live in the studio” in a single take.
#18 Madcrap’s record sleeve of the day “Sham 69 - That’s Life”
A concept album from a punk band? First I thought it’s gonna be shit, but I ended up enjoy the whole album. Released on 1978, and not many people liked it at the time, you were wrong.
#17 Madcrap’s record sleeve of the day “Link Wray - Rumble”
One of the best guitarist of all time, he stood between the garage movement, punk & rockabilly. Raw vocals, and he’s known for his guitar instrumentals. This is one of his reissue cover, which i think it’s pretty rad, all that blurry motion showing him with his guitar. Legendary it is. Rest in Peace Mr. Wray.
#15 Madcrap’s record sleeve of the day “The Birthday Party - Prayers On Fire”
First Birthday Party’s record that i bought, an intense, raw and powerful stuff from Nick Cave. Been a hardcore fan of Birthday Party after i heard this record. “Nick The Stripper” and “King Ink” are still two of my favorite songs of all time.
